The summers in Phoenix are grueling even for Arizonans accustomed to the July heat. When Landside Operations Assistant Leo F., saw passengers walking alongside Sky Harbor Boulevard from the park-n-walk lot in the late afternoon hours of July, he knew he had to help.

The passengers were not familiar with the airport and were unaccustomed to the heat. Leo’s quick thinking and assistance to get the passengers to the termimal earned him a nomination for recognition from his supervisor.

To say thank you to Leo, our Customer Service team presented him with an On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You) award.
