Recognizing Outstanding Service with an On the FLY Award

An airport employee left such an impression on a frequent traveler through America’s Friendliest Airport® that he wants to spread the word about her.

Emily H., a passenger assistant with airport contractor Prospect International Airport Services, earned the admiration of traveler Anthony C.

“I have traveled to Phoenix a few times in the past year and wanted to compliment Emily,” he said. “Emily was cautious, friendly and very helpful; I was fortunate to have her service three times during my past visits.”

Emily communicated his route through the airport to him and was conscientious of his wife who was walking aside them.

“Emily is an exemplary employee and an asset to your organization,” he said. “I look forward to returning and I hope to be fortunate enough to see her again.”

Emily made the passenger’s trip a little more comfortable and friendly, so she has been recognized by Phoenix Sky Harbor’s Customer Service On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You.)
