Sky Harbor to Host Job Fair Next Week
PHOENIX— Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will be hosting a job fair on Wednesday, Dec. 15. This event will feature new opportunities that were not available at the previous job fairs.
Many airport vendors will be available to meet with prospective employees. Job opportunities at the airport include positions in aviation support, passenger customer service, facilities, automotive, mobility services, and other industries. Candidates will have the opportunity to speak with representatives to discuss available positions, begin the application process, fill out required paperwork and in some cases, have the opportunity to interview on-site.
More than 250 available positions are looking to be filled including drivers, sales associates, customer service reps, receptionists, warehouse handlers, security guards, and more. Positions range from entry level to supervisors and management. Benefits vary by each company, but may include insurance and retirement options, paid time off, commission bonuses, discounts, parking passes, retention bonuses, employee assistance programs and referral bonuses. Some are also offering hiring bonuses for starting a position.
Companies in attendance will be ABM, Accufleet, ACE Parking, Avis, CAM Concessions/Wendy's, Covenant Aviation Security (CAS), Enterprise Holdings, FedEx, Flagship, Global USA, HMS Host, InMotion, Jetstream, Kind Hospitality, MAG, Nu Car Rentals, Paradies Lagardere, Piedmont Airlines, SSP, Stellar Partners, Swissport, and Tumi.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will take place at the 44th Street PHX Sky Train® Station located at 44th Street and Washington. Facial coverings are required. There is no registration required for this event. Applicants can access the job fair using the city’s bus system, light rail or by parking for free at the station. A transit pass will be offered to attendees.
