Have Your Gifts Wrapped Right at the Airport

Many of us will be traveling by air during this holiday season. When preparing for your trip, you might have been reading important tips from the TSA about holiday travel. If you haven’t, click here. But if you have, you may have noticed that it is recommended that you leave your gifts unwrapped in case they require secondary screening at the security checkpoint. So, if you’re carrying on your gifts and you can’t wrap them before you go through the checkpoint, what are you to do? Not to worry, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, America’s Friendliest Airport®, can help.

As an added service to our customers and to make their holidays a little brighter, we will be offering gift wrapping post-security for a donation. All proceeds will benefit local United Way charities through the city of Phoenix Community Service Fund Drive. Airport Navigator Volunteers and employees will be volunteering their own time to help raise money during the Holidays when it is needed most.

The Holiday Gift Wrapping Stations will be post security in select locations and will begin on Monday, December 21, and go through Thursday, December 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Look for signs and bring your items to be wrapped for your family and friends and help out a good cause all at the same time.
