Sky Harbor Hosts 3rd Annual Customer Appreciation Day Oct. 4th
Phoenix, AZ – Passengers visiting Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Tuesday, October 4 will be treated to a variety of specials as the Airport celebrates Customer Appreciation Day. Sky Harbor prides itself on being America’s Friendliest Airport® and for the third year in a row is hosting the celebration during national Customer Service Week.
Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon will be in Terminal 4, level 3 from 10:45 – 11:30 a.m. personally thanking customers for flying PHX. Airport Director Danny Murphy will also be on hand greeting customers. In addition, airport employees and Navigator volunteers will be wearing “THX from PHX” stickers to further recognize our customers. Sky Harbor’s mascot, Amelia the Airplane will be out in the terminals greeting travelers and posing for photos and Paradise Bakery’s giant cookie mascot will also greet passengers in the terminals. Entertainment will take place in Terminal 4 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Many of Sky Harbor’s shops and restaurants are joining in the celebration. There will be a variety of specials for customers, such as food tasting, giveaways, discounts and more.
