Phoenix, AZ – Travelers should give themselves extra time if they are driving to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Friday night through Saturday afternoon. Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, February 20 through 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard will be closed at Terminal 3. Drivers needing to access Terminals 2 and 3 must enter the Airport from the West. Terminal 4 will remain unaffected. The closure will allow crews to remove the former pedestrian bridge between Terminal 3 and the Sky Harbor Operations building.

Access to the Airport from the West End is available via Buckeye Road or from the I-10 freeway. Travelers should also be aware of the following:

  • Those picking up or dropping off passengers at Terminal 3 should use the north inner curb.
  • All Terminal 3 Ground Transportation will be relocated to the North side of the terminal.

There will also be the following detours:

  • Westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard Traffic will be detoured to eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard just before Terminal 3.
  • Over-height Vehicles on Westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard will be detoured to Terminal 4, Level 2 and onto Eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard.

Drivers should allot extra time when traveling and slow down and watch for signs. For more information, visit skyharbor.com.
