Terminal 3 PHX Sky Train StationThe PHX Sky Train® Terminal 3 Station platform and bridge has been presented with the coveted Crescordia Award for Art in Public Places as part of the prestigious Valley Forward Environmental Awards.  Nominated by the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture, the Terminal 3 PHX Sky Train Station® terrazzo floors were designed by artist Janelle Stanley.  Using her experience as a Diné (Navajo) weaver, she combined traditional elements with a contemporary design to create a vibrant and beautiful work of public art.  The floors were fabricated by the Corradini Corporation.

The 35th Annual Valley Forward Environmental Excellence Awards took place on Saturday, September 12, and were presented in partnership by Arizona Forward and SRP.  There were more than 120 entries for this year’s highly respected awards focusing on sustainability.
