Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. America’s Friendliest Airport®, has many options for those travelers looking to pick up a holiday gift on their way out of town.

Shopping Specials

Many stores throughout the Airport are offering holiday specials.  See our Pinterest board for a complete list.

Brighton Collectibles (two locations in Terminal 4 – Pre-Security and at Gate C1) is running a promotion through December 13 where customers receive a free tote with a merchandise purchase of $100.

InMotion Entertainment has gifts to go for everyone on your holiday shopping list. InMotion Entertainment has three locations in Terminal 4 - one pre-security and one near Gate B1, and another on the D Concourse.

Stop into Arizona Highways (pre-security in Terminal 4) and pick up a variety of items unique to Arizona.  There are Arizona sand globes, cactus pens and pencils, and other Southwest items, including Southwestern themed holiday items.  Holiday cards, candy and other gifts are also available.

Be artistic this holiday season.  Pick up a coloring book as a gift or for yourself.  Many different kinds are available.  Themed books include Christmas, In the Ocean, and Game of Thrones.  Available at Hudson Booksellers (Terminal 4, Pre-security) and Arizona Highways (Terminal 4, Pre-security).  Selection varies by location.

Looking to cheer on the Diamondbacks, Coyotes, Cardinals, or Suns?  What about the Sun Devils or the Arizona Wildcats?  Look no further than the Team Shop for all your fan needs.  Visit them pre-security in Terminal 4.   Valley of the Sun (Terminal 4, Gates A15-A30) also has all sorts of Arizona Cardinals gear available too.

Mosaic (pre-security in Terminal 4) offers many distinct, one-of-a-kind gifts sure to please anyone on your holiday shopping list. 

 
Edible Treats

Take a taste of the Southwest home with you by purchasing holiday tamales from El Bravo.  El Bravo’s holiday tamales are well-known throughout Phoenix.  They’re sold by the dozen and half dozen and come in three flavors – green corn chicken, red beef and vegetarian.  All have a choice of red or green sauce.  The cost per dozen is $44.07 (includes tax) and $21.65 for a half dozen (includes tax).   These options will require a 24 hour advance notice by calling 602-244-1388 and come in decorative packaging. Each package comes with reheating and cooling instructions along with a phone number for questions. The packaged tamales are cooked and frozen and will remain frozen for three to four hours, but will last without refrigeration for about six hours, making it an easy gift for travelers.  El Bravo is located past security in Terminal 4 near Gate B9.

Sonoran Kettle CornExplore Arizona (Terminal 4, Pre-Security) and Desert News & Gifts   (Terminal 4, Gate B6) are offering fresh, locally sourced dates from Sphinx Date Ranch and unique local products like Cactus Candy made locally out of prickly pear cactus.  Both stores also offer Sonoran Kettle Corn made right here in Arizona.  This make a nice, tasty and colorful treat for your friends and family.

Sweet Indulgences (Terminal 4, Gates B1-B14) has a variety of one-of-a-kind items for everyone on your shopping list.  Check out the special M&M’s airplane for the aviation enthusiast on your gift list.Kettle Corn made right here in Arizona.  This make a nice, tasty and colorful treat for your friends and family.

 

Holiday Gifts

Navajo SandpaintingAre you a holiday ornament collector?  Pick up beautiful hand-painted ornaments from Southwest Ornaments.  These are made locally in Chandler, Arizona.    Unique copper ornaments made by Dos Damas Design in Phoenix are also available.    Both types of ornaments are for sale at Explore Arizona (Terminal 4, Pre-Security) and Desert News & Gifts (Terminal 4, Gate B6).

Looking for that truly one-of-a-kind Christmas ornament?  Navajo Sandpainting are special to the Southwest, and their hand-made ornaments are truly unique.  Available at Arizona Highways (pre-security in Terminal 4).

 

Holiday Events

On December 11, from 12-3 p.m. at CNBC (Terminal 4, D Concourse), there will be See’s Candy sampling.  Stop by and sample some of their tasty treats.

On December 20, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Lilia Corona will have a trunk show event featuring her locally handmade jewelry. The Trunk show will be Desert News and Gifts (Terminal 4, Gate B6).

 

Holiday Gift Wrapping

And, if you are shopping at the Airport, why not have your gifts wrapped? With the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) encouraging travelers not to wrap their gifts so that they can be more easily screened, Sky Harbor is again offering free gift-wrapping past security. On December 22-23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., travelers will be able to have their gifts wrapped at stations beyond Terminal 4 Security Checkpoints A, B and C. Gift wrapping will be free, but donations will be accepted. Proceeds raised assist local United Way charities through the city of Phoenix Community Service Fund Drive.
