Did you know that the TSA recommends to travelers that they leave their gifts unwrapped as they pass through security in the event they require closer screening? If you are wondering how you will wrap you gifts at your destination, not to worry, America’s Friendliest Airport® is once again offering free gift-wrapping both post-security for departing passengers and in Baggage Claim for those arriving in Phoenix.

Now, in its fifth year, free gift-wrapping will be available in Terminal 4, on Friday, December 20 and Monday, December 23, from 8 a.m. 4 p.m. at the following locations:

  • B Concourse (Post-Security)
  • Baggage Claim (Level 1) - West Information Counter

“New this year will be a self-wrapping station for those travelers flying into Phoenix for the holiday. The self-wrapping station will be available from 6 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22 near the West Information Counter in Terminal 4 on Level 1. Paper, tape, gift boxes, gift tags, and cutting utensils will be provided.

Remember, if you are a last minute shopper, PHX has some great Airport shops. Many offer holiday specials, and you can pick up your gift and have it wrapped before boarding.
