What happens next?

When your security background checks are approved, you will receive up to three training emails from the Security Badging Office (trainer@mindflash.com) inviting you to take the off-airport non-security sensitive training. In the event you are notified by your company that you are approved and you did not receive the notification, please check your spam/junk mail folder. If you determine that you have not received the training notification, please contact the badging office at 602-273-2036 for assistance.

Creating the training password

It is strongly recommended to complete the non-security sensitive online training outside of the Security Badging office to reduce the time needed in our office to receive your badge. You must log into this Mindflash training and create a password. If you fail to create and remember a password and cannot access the Mindflash training modules in the Aviation Security Badging Office, you will be asked to come back after you complete the required step to access the training. Our office will not create emails or change the email address on file for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Security Badging Office at (602) 273-2036 or by email security.badging@phoenix.gov.

After you have successfully completed the training sent to you in the emails, you will be required to return to the Security Badging office to successfully complete the security sensitive training to receive your badge. Please remember to bring the password you created with you.

What if I don’t have a valid email address?

You must have an email address to complete the training, which is part of the badging process to receive a badge. An email address must be on file as part of the initial badging enrollment process.

Can I use my company email address?

Yes, as long as the email address is specific to you for your use only. It cannot be a generic email that others use. Example of a generic email: security.badging@phoenix.gov.

Can I use my home email address?

As long as the email address is specific to you for your use only. It cannot be a generic email that others use. Example of home email address: firstname.lastname@hotmail.com.

What do I do if the video will not play?

Your browser security settings are probably preventing the video from playing.  Please set your browser to allow access to the Mindflash site.

  1. Microsoft Internet Explorer is the preferred browser for the LMS platform.
  2. Google Chrome will have a one-click acceptance of the security acceptance in the address bar.
  3. Firefox 13 should run with no issues. Firefox Quantum will have four security areas to change in the settings.
  4. Safari will have two areas requiring a security exception.
  5. Of course, you can take the course at the badging office at Sky Harbor as well if you are unable to change the security settings on your desktop.
  6. Results and experience will vary on iOS and Android devices depending on the age of the device and updated software, newer is not necessarily better.
