Local artists take the stage and play live music on the Traveling Tunes music stage in Terminal 3 at the Culture Corner near Gate F3/F4 (post-security) and in Terminal 4, Level 3, near the iStore (pre-security).

Ricardo Castro

Performing from 9-11 a.m. on September 3 & 17, 2026 in Terminal 4

Ricardo Castro is originally from Yuma, Arizona, and currently lives in Phoenix. He has been a musician for approximately 15 years and has had the opportunity to tour throughout Mexico and the United States performing with a variety of regional Mexican artists.

Ricardo's performances feature relaxing and calming covers of English pop music and classic songs, reimagined on the accordion—an instrument not commonly associated with these genres. Through social media, he has built an audience of more than 118,000 followers on TikTok, including viral videos featuring accordion covers of artists such as Bruno Mars and Billie Eilish. He also releases his music on Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music.

The Groove Source Duo

Performing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 10 & 24, 2026 in Terminal 3

Ellen’s sultry and silky-smooth jazz vocal sound is reminiscent of the cool jazz genre of the 1950s. Her unique style and swinging rhythmic sense have been compared to the late great jazz vocalists – June Christy, Anita O’Day, Carmen McRae, Ella Fitzgerald, to name a few. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Ellen began her professional musical career working in clubs, as well as a variety of venues, in and around the Chicagoland area. In 1988, Ellen was invited to relocate to Orlando, Florida to work for Walt Disney World where she performed for thousands of their conventions and wedding reception events. She was the jazz/big band vocalist with two of Walt Disney World’s top convention and wedding bands; The Prime Time Orchestra – a 17-piece big band inspired by the Les Brown Orchestra and Sinatra’s big band sound, and After Six – a 7-piece jazz/swing band.

Al has also been in the business for decades performing at exclusive resorts, clubs and private events all over the state of Arizona as well as New York.

Now operating out of the Phoenix area, together as The Groove Source Duo, they bring a unique and refreshing stylized approach to this wonderful genre of music that audiences truly appreciate!
