Changes to Valley Metro’s Bus Route #13

On Monday 10/28, Valley Metro’s Bus Route #13 (Buckeye Rd.) made significant changes, and will now only stop at the 24th St. Sky Train Station, northwest curb, outside sign/marker #9 (see map below). The bus stop has a schedule posted and expects busing headways every 30 minutes (a bus arrives every 30 minutes).

Also, Valley Metro no longer sells paper tickets. Customers need to pay through the Valley Metro App or a reloadable Copper Card (sold at Circle K stores or valleymetrofares.org). More information is available at https://www.valleymetro.org/fares/where-to-buy

Previously, route #13 made several stops along Buckeye Rd. and ended service at the West Economy Parking Garage. These bus stops and all signage are being removed. These changes were coordinated with Public Transit, Valley Metro and PHX OPS.

Other Valley Metro routes can be found at the 44th St. Station (route #44 – 44th St., or the Light Rail), which also have a posted schedule.

Report Safety HazardsReport Safety Hazards graphic

All employees have a right to a safe workplace and should feel comfortable to report unsafe conditions. A work environment becomes safer when many people are alert to potential hazards and can quickly report them. Access to the form can be found on https://forms.skyharbor.aero under the Safety dropdown tab. This form can also be completed using a mobile device.

The Safety Hazard Incident Reporting form should be used to report non-emergency safety concerns at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The form is not intended for reporting emergencies. If the safety concern is an emergency, call 602-273-3311 immediately. If you have any questions of a safety concern, please email to avn.safety@phoenix.gov or call 602-495-SAFE (7233).
