Daver Malik is the Assistant Aviation Director and Chief Development Officer for the City of Phoenix Aviation Department, overseeing Design & Construction Services, Planning & Environmental, and Technology divisions at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix Deer Valley Airport, and Phoenix Goodyear Airport.
With more than 20 years in the airport industry, he has a strategic focus on capital development, infrastructure, planning, and technology. Previously, he served as the Assistant Chief Information Officer at Phoenix Sky Harbor and Chief Information Officer at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where he contributed to significant capital development projects. He also served as the Global Director of Airport Strategic Programs in the private sector for Collins Aerospace.
Daver has been involved in transformative projects such as the $1.5 billion modernization of Terminal 3 at Sky Harbor and the $2 billion International Terminal in Atlanta. He has implemented innovative aviation initiatives, including a Digital Strategy, novel operational data sharing model with airport stakeholders and business partners and the Biometrics Exit Program. A former Chair of the ACI-NA Business and Information Technology Committee, he holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives(AAAE) Airport Certified Employee (ACE-Finance) and is committed to shaping the future of Phoenix’s airport system and its community.
