Travel Tips for Arriving Passengers:
If you are planning to rent a car, make sure to reserve your car in advance. Car rentals can increase during heavy travel periods and vehicles may be limited for walk-up customers.
Attending events in downtown Phoenix? Travel between the airport and downtown is easy via the free PHX Sky Train® from all terminals to Valley Metro Rail. After disembarking from the PHX Sky Train®, make sure to purchase your pass from the Valley Metro fare vending machine. Then, take Valley Metro Rail westbound and get off at the Third and Washington Street Station for the Phoenix Convention Center and Mortgage Matchup Center. Travelers staying with family or friends can save valuable time and avoid traffic by getting picked up at either the 24th Street or 44th Street PHX Sky Train® Stations. Both offer a convenient alternative to driving into the airport. https://www.skyharbor.com/ground-transportation/phx-sky-train/.
Departing after the game?
The day after the championship (Monday, April 6) will be busy at PHX. If you are departing on April 6, keep in mind:
- If you have a souvenir program, it must be placed in your carry-on bag.
