Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is hosting its award-winning Dementia Friendly Air Travel Workshop July 15 to offer knowledge and support in navigating the airport experience to passengers with dementia and their caregivers.

Launched in 2021, the workshop offers insight from panel members who have specialized training in working with travelers with dementia as well as airport employees who can give tips and answer questions about routine airport travel. The program has grown in popularity, offering valuable guidance on preparing for air travel, security screening, and navigating the terminal with ease.

Sky Harbor remains dedicated to enhancing accessibility and ensuring a smooth journey for all passengers. The next workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to noon.
