This week is Monsoon Awareness Week, a campaign coordinated by the National Weather Service (NWS), to lead into the official start of Monsoon Season, which begins June 15 and lasts until Sept.  30.

The CPC (Climate Prediction Center) forecast has nearly all of Arizona with a lean (33-50%) towards above normal precipitation and above normal temperatures (40-50%) for the July-August-September period.
