Read MoreOn April 20, Phoenix City Council approved the plans to build a new cross-field taxiway at Sky Harbor, the first to connect the north and south airfields from the west side of the terminals. This taxiway will provide a needed crossing west of Terminal 3 and help to improve the flow of aircraft between the two airfields. This is also significant as it will be the first City of Phoenix project to benefit from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, an investment in long-term Arizona infrastructure, including airport development, which was passed by Congress late last year.
Earlier this month, British Airways A350 (left) arrived at our airport. This aircraft is now serving the Phoenix-London Heathrow Route. With 331 seats, it’s the first to feature British Airways’ Club World cabin – Club Suite and is one of the most fuel-efficient aircraft in the world.

The flight is daily on a Boeing 777 with 273 seats. This is the second direct daily flight from Phoenix to London. British Airways resumed its direct flight in August 2021.

Beginning May 21, Condor Airlines will resume its nonstop Phoenix-Frankfurt flight. Condor Airlines will operate the flight with a Boeing 767-300ER. It will be offered two days a week from May through September.
