First Quarter Sees Expanded Non-Stop Service Routes and a New Airline

A new airline has arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Lynx Air, Canada’s new "ultra-affordable airline," had its inaugural flight take off from the airport on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

The flights operate on the airline’s brand-new Boeing 737, which seats up to 189 passengers. Canada is an important partner to Arizona,

February also brought new nonstop service on Breeze Airways to three new destinations. Fayetteville/Bentonville, Arkansas (which is also now served by American Airlines); Hartford, Connecticut which is a new market for Phoenix; and Richmond, Virginia service which is also a new market for Phoenix.
