For 22 years, Zeino D. has played a key role in keeping Phoenix Sky Harbor clean, welcoming and running smoothly. As an Aviation Supervisor II in Facilities and Services, he oversees the city’s custodial team and supports six contracted service providers. He has also spent two decades on the Connect AVN Employee Committee helping organize events that build morale and celebrate staff.

Key Support Structures Now in Place for Taxiway U Project

Crews have successfully installed all the piers (bridge supports) for the taxiway bridge that will span over eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard. This is a major construction milestone for the Taxiway Uniform project, also referred to as Taxiway U. With the piers in place, crews started setting the bridge girders on top of them. These girders will form the main structural support for the taxiway bridge.
