Aviation Employee Helps Traveler Continue Journey

Airport employees often help passengers find their way around the terminals, and one traveler got extra assistance continuing her journey.

An Amtrak passenger who was lost and confused about where to catch her shuttle was sitting outside for more than 25 minutes. Rob S., an operations aide with the city of Phoenix Aviation Department, noticed her and immediately reached out to the Ground Transportation division. He stayed with the passenger until help arrived and could determine she was at the wrong terminal for her shuttle pick up.

The passenger and other airport employees were thankful for Rob’s thoughtfulness and assistance, so he was recognized by our Phoenix Sky Harbor On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You.)
