Dementia Friendly Air Travel Workshop Enters Fourth Year
The Dementia Friendly Air Travel Workshop has proven to be valuable for passengers with dementia and their care providers.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport inaugurated this initiative in 2021 with special programing to teach customers with dementia how to navigate a busy airport, and in summer 2022, the Guest and Customer Experience Team at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport hosted its first Dementia Friendly Air Travel Workshop.
The next Dementia Friendly Air Travel Workshop will be held Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon.
