Phoenix Celebrates China Airlines Inaugural Nonstop Service Between Phoenix, Taiwan
Representatives of the City of Phoenix, China Airlines and dignitaries gathered on Dec. 3 to officially welcome the long-awaited first flight from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Phoenix on China Airlines. The historic milestone was celebrated with a ribbon cutting and performances highlighting Taiwan’s rich and vibrant culture.
Announced in July, the new route marks the first time nonstop service has been offered between Phoenix and Asia and provides a convenient travel option for both leisure and business travelers. The Airbus A350-900 aircraft operates three days a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with seating options in business class, premium economy and economy.
