America’s Friendliest Airport® is a Family-Friendly Airport
For the second year in a row, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport ranked number 9 in the Top 14 Airports for Breastfeeding Parents by Mamava. This yearly ranking highlights airports for making dedicated efforts that go beyond the requirements of the Friendly Airports for Mothers (FAM) Acts, which require all airports to provide one lactation space in each terminal.
Phoenix Sky Harbor goes beyond the FAM Act requirements by providing six Mother’s Rooms and six Mamava pods across the airport for breastfeeding and pumping needs. Not only does Phoenix Sky Harbor offer these services, but also family-friendly parking and a children’s play area known as “Play-Viation Park” in Terminal 3.
