Phoenix Aviation Director Named Director of the Year
Airport Experience News (AXN) has awarded its prestigious Director of the Year award, Large Airports Division, to City of Phoenix Aviation Director Chad Makovsky.
Makovsky leads Phoenix’s system of airports, including Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Deer Valley Airport and Goodyear Airport. He has served in the role since March 2021. In his 34-year professional career, he also has worked at Burbank Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and America West Airlines, along with a variety of other roles in the City of Phoenix Aviation Department.
