Phoenix Raceway Countdown Clock Goes Live
Engines on! The official NASCAR Championship Weekend Countdown Clock at Phoenix Sky Harbor was unveiled on Oct. 6 at the west end of Terminal 4, Level 1.
For the fifth year in a row, Phoenix Raceway will host NASCAR's championship weekend from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. The action-packed weekend includes championship races for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series. Following the eventful weekend, the NASCAR Awards celebration will be held in Scottsdale on Nov. 4.
In attendance was Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey, Aviation Director Chad Makosky, and Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, among others. Local sports mascots Big Red and D. Baxter stopped by to show their support as well!
The NASCAR countdown clock is great reminder of an exciting event that brings racing fans from across the world to Phoenix Sky Harbor. The next time you find yourself in the west end of Terminal 4, look up to find the iconic NASCAR clock and join in on the countdown!
