PHX FLT Club a Place to Slow Down
Lauryn Mangum Reed is no stranger to Phoenix Sky Harbor with more than a decade of business ownership. As executive vice president for TMG Hospitality USA, she has put down roots of entrepreneurship at America’s Friendliest Airport®. TMG Hospitality USA is the owner operator of The Refuge, Phoenix Magazine Café and Market, and Garrett Popcorn.
PHX FLT Club, in Terminal 4 between the A and D TSA Security Checkpoints, is another in a series of restaurant spaces aimed at giving passengers a quieter airport experience.
“We have everything from coffee, food, wine,” said Mangum Reed. “This is a one-stop shop, a little bit of a safe space where you also you can sit back, relax, listen to the music and have some amazing people wait on you and serve you.”
Being in a well-traveled spot in the busiest terminal at PHX would seem contrary to enjoying a quiet moment before a flight or while waiting for a loved one to arrive, but that energy is what makes PHX FLT Club attractive to another member of the management team.
“You get to experience people on their journeys,” said Tai, director of operations. “One thing I do love about all our locations is we create a fun environment. We play music, have a good time.”
Said Savannah, store manager, PHX FLT Club is where you can get “good food, good drinks, have a good conversation and have a good time and be able to relax.”
