Pair of Aviation Employees Help Colleagues
Sometimes excellent customer service is offered by employees to their coworkers as in the case of two Facilities and Services Division team members who assisted Phoenix Airport Museum workers.
Johnny D. and Brian G., building maintenance workers with the Aviation Department, have been very helpful with time, equipment, and sometimes brute force to install signage in the Terminal 3 Desert Garden for the Museum employees.
“Teamwork really is the dreamwork, and what could’ve been a difficult job was in fact a delightful task shared amongst dedicated public servants that I am proud to call friends,” said the employee in nominating Johnny and Brian for recognition. “Like so many times before, I couldn’t have done it without them, and I feel fortunate to be part of a department whose divisions really do work together as we all work to make this a truly special place to be for all who come through our doors and our city.”
Johnny and Brian demonstrated how being helpful can make someone else’s day, which is at the heart of excellent customer service, and they have been recognized by Phoenix Sky Harbor’s On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You.)
