Making Every Drop Count: PHX’s Water Conservation Efforts

Sometimes the best customer service is about being warm and positive to a passenger during a break.
A traveler, Emily, and her group of friends were waiting for their flight after returning from a bachelorette trip, passing the time chatting and “doing some silly dances” when Antaniyah N., a passenger assistant with airport contractor Prospect Airport Services, struck up a conversation with them while taking a break.
“She was so kind and friendly, asking about our trip, where we were from, how our group knew each other, and if we had a good time in the city,” said Emily. “Before she left to get back to work, she shared some beautiful words of advice with us about always supporting each other, staying close as friends, and not letting anything get between us.”
“It was such a small interaction, but it left a big impression. Over the last couple of weeks, our group has continued to talk about how lovely she was and how much she brightened our day,” she continued.
It was an interaction that lasted less than five minutes, but Antaniyah showed such genuine warmth, empathy, and positivity that she made a simple moment feel special, so she has been recognized by our Phoenix Sky Harbor On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You.)
