Book Your Magnificent Montana Adventure
American Airlines recently announced several new flights from Phoenix. Two of those destinations are in Montana. If you’ve had a desire to visit the place where Yellowstone was filmed, now is your chance. Starting June 4, American will offer daily nonstop service to Bozeman through Sept. 8. Starting June 19, nonstop service will operate on Fridays and Sundays to Kalispell through Sept. 6.
Both destinations offer ample opportunities to explore the beautiful nature Montana has to offer.
Bozeman is 90 miles away from Yellowstone National Park. The epic national park features geysers, hot springs, and abundant wildlife. This makes for a great day trip from Bozeman. Bozeman also offers many other activities, from exploring Main Street’s boutiques, galleries and local restaurants to checking out the Museum of the Rockies. This museum has an extensive dinosaur fossil collection and planetarium shows. Other outdoor pursuits in Bozeman include visiting the Bozeman Hot Springs, fly fishing on the Gallatin River, ziplining across the Gallatin, and hiking the College “M” Trail where visitors can get panoramic views of Bozeman and the nearby Gallatin Valley.
For visitors to Kalispell, they will be dazzled by Glacier National Park. The park, which features breathtaking scenery, also has many hiking trails and the famous Going-to-Sun Road. Don’t miss your opportunity to explore the incredible landscapes of Glacier National Park. Lone Pine State Park also has hiking opportunities, panoramic views, and wildlife viewing while Flathead Lake is an ideal spot for fishing, kayaking and more. Foys Lake State Park also has kayaking and swimming while Parkline Trail is great for cyclists.
Downtown’s Main Street offers local boutiques, restaurants, and breweries. Visitors interested in checking out a museum or two have a few options with the Conrad Mansion Museum which showcases Kalispell’s past, the Northwest Montana History Museum, and the Hockaday Museum of Art.
