Airport Dispatcher Saves the Day for Passenger

July 14, 2026
A passenger heading to Minneapolis realized he left his credit card at his airline check-in kiosk, but a call to an airport dispatcher helped save his trip.
The customer checked in and went through security, but later realized he did not have his credit card on hand, and he suspected he had left it in the airline self-check system.
He called for help and got hold of Megan S., a communication dispatcher with the Aviation Department.
“She was amazingly helpful,” the passenger said in nominating her for recognition. “Her demeanor and support were fantastic.”
“With her help, I managed to regain possession of my card just a few minutes before the flight I was due to board. This was a great relief,” he said.
Megan was a great ambassador for America’s Friendliest Airport® and we are happy to recognize her with an On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You.) award.
