PHX Provides Inclusive Airport Experience for Travelers of all Abilities

July 14, 2026

Phoenix Sky Harbor is honoring Disability Pride Month by highlighting the many ways it supports travelers with physical and hidden disabilities. Disability Pride Month is observed in July to celebrate disability identity and the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

“As one of the busiest airports in the country that serves thousands of travelers every day, at America’s Friendliest Airport® we remain committed to enhancing accessibility,” said Ira McCullough, ADA and Title VI Program Manager at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. “We are proud to provide resources to help passengers with physical and hidden disabilities feel welcome, supported and confident as they move through Phoenix Sky Harbor.”

Assistance and support services, sensory and cognitive support resources, vision and hearing technology-based accessibility tools, and facilities and amenities designed to support accessibility are among the key offerings available at Phoenix Sky Harbor.

Passengers and caregivers are advised to review the airport’s accessibility resources before their trip so they can be prepared to travel through Phoenix Sky Harbor.
