New Artist Spotlight: Luis Jiménez
The Phoenix Airport Museum presents a new Artist Spotlight featuring six artworks by renowned artist Luis Jiménez. While he is best known for creating monumental sculptures, like the Blue Mustang at Denver International Airport, drawing and printmaking were central to his creative process. The works on view at PHX highlight that dynamic range, featuring subjects such as Chula, a beloved pet raven; powerful feathered serpents drawn from mythology; and a vibrant print of two figures riding in a classic lowrider.
