Phoenix Sky Harbor Volunteers Celebrated During Appreciation Week
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport observed Volunteer Appreciation Week April 22-28 with a full week of gratitude for the volunteer Navigators, Navigator Buddies, Teen Navigators and Navigator Chaplains.
Volunteers were honored throughout the week with a sports-themed celebration that recognized them as the airport’s most valuable players. Activities included sharing favorite memories, offering travel tips and welcoming Phoenix Sky Harbor leadership as they shadowed volunteers to experience a day in their world.
Volunteers are at the heart of America’s Friendliest Airport® and make travel easier and friendlier for millions of passengers each year.
