PHX Volunteers Receive City of Phoenix 2026 Impact Award
Congratulations to the City of Phoenix 2026 Impact Award recipients. This year’s honorees included several dedicated volunteers from Phoenix Sky Harbor.
Navigator Jan Dougherty, Navigator Chaplain John Barelli, and Navigator Buddy team Beth and Will Thompson, along with their therapy dog Finn, were recognized for their outstanding volunteer service at the airport.
In total, 17 individuals, two youth volunteers and four volunteer groups were honored by Volunteer PHX for their contributions. Awardees were nominated by City Council offices and city departments. Their dedication, skills and compassion help strengthen Phoenix.
