Infrastructure Funds Will Add New Cross-field Taxiway at PHX

Rep. Greg Stanton, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, and the White House’s Infrastructure Coordinator Mitch Landrieu discussed a $194 million federal investment to construct a new 2,000-foot taxiway at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This is the first project in the city of Phoenix to benefit from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The new taxiway will join the north and south airfields on the west end of the airport, allowing for better aircraft flow for airfield operations.
