Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport had a record-setting March with more than 4.6 million passengers traveling through the airport. The March passenger traffic numbers are up 8.2% from the prior year and 2% higher than pre-pandemic passenger numbers from March 2019.

With the record month of March, coupled with the busiest day ever in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport history following Super Bowl and the Waste Management Phoenix Open weekend, the first quarter of 2023 is the busiest first quarter in the airport’s history.
