A big congratulations to our Director of Aviation Services Chad Makovsky, C.M. He has been honored as the Arizona Airports Association (AzAA) Executive of the Year.

Chad was recognized for his strong support of AzAA and his leadership within the aviation industry. With more than 32 years of industry experience, Chad has made substantial contributions to aviation. Under his visionary leadership at PHX, the Airport has embarked upon many exciting initiatives such as the Roadmap to Net Carbon Zero, which outlines the Airport’s path to reach net-zero carbon emissions nearly a decade ahead of global and industry goals.
