A recent visitor to Phoenix Sky Harbor found herself a long way from her car without remembering where she parked, and an airport employee came to her rescue.

Richard V., an Aviation Supervisor with the City of Phoenix Aviation Department, came to her assistance, listening patiently and walking with the customer from Terminal 4 to the far end of an economy parking lot where she found her car.

“He did an excellent job, genuinely wanting to help without judgment,” she said in nominating Richard for recognition.

Richard’s patience with the lost guest in a difficult situation is a testament to his professionalism and service to all customers and is why he was recognized by Sky Harbor’s Customer Service On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You.)
