Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport proudly serves on average more than 120,000 passengers each day, so we wanted to show our appreciation for those who help us shine. On the days leading up to the Labor Day holiday weekend, from Wednesday, Aug. 30 through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4, our Customer Service team and Navigators handed out PHX sunglasses to passengers in both terminals. The black shades were designed with bright yellow sides that included America’s Friendliest Airport^® lettering on one side, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on the other.

Our mascot Amelia also made a special appearance in the terminals and took lots of stunning pictures with passengers. The six-day giveaway brought hundreds of smiles to Phoenix Sky Harbor as our Navigators and Navigator Buddies made sure that passengers received a token of thanks in addition to helpful directions and smiles.
