90th Anniversary Employee Spotlight: Zeino D.
For 22 years, Zeino D. has played a key role in keeping Phoenix Sky Harbor clean, welcoming and running smoothly. As an Aviation Supervisor II in Facilities and Services, he oversees the city’s custodial team and supports six contracted service providers. He has also spent two decades on the Connect AVN Employee Committee helping organize events that build morale and celebrate staff.
Zeino enjoys the airport’s fast pace and takes pride in working with a diverse team that serves thousands of passengers each day. One of his proudest moments was winning first place in a Federal Aviation Administration design competition for a proposal to power airport equipment with solar energy — a rewarding mix of teamwork, sustainability and innovation.
He’s watched Phoenix Sky Harbor evolve over the years, from the construction of the control tower, Rental Car Center, and PHX Sky Train®, to the modernization of Terminal 3. Looking ahead, Zeino sees a future shaped by new international routes, a major west terminal, and continued innovation to keep Phoenix Sky Harbor a world-class gateway for the region.
