90th Anniversary Employee Spotlight: Stephanie R.
With 13 years at the Aviation Department and 18 total with the City of Phoenix, Stephanie R. brings a sharp eye for finance and a deep appreciation for the people behind the projects.
As a key support for the Planning and Environmental Division’s operating budget, contracts, and project reporting, Stephanie helps keep the wheels turning behind the scenes. What drew her to Phoenix Sky Harbor? The atmosphere.
“There’s a different kind of positivity here. It’s inclusive and encourages growth, training, and innovation,” she says.
Stephanie fondly remembers the jet pull events when employees raised money for the community, built relationships across departments, and experienced the excitement of airside operations. Her first exposure to Phoenix Sky Harbor was flying into Terminal 2, and over the years she has come to see the airport as much more than just a travel hub that provides career and business opportunities, saying it also supports both local and international communities.
Stephanie is excited for the future of PHX, from a new west terminal to emerging aviation technologies, and is proud to be part of an organization that has helped shape Arizona for 90 years.
