America’s Friendliest Airport® is proud to offer travelers a chance to experience Arizona’s vibrant Hispanic culture through its award‑winning food concepts, art exhibitions, cultural events, shops and more. As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Aiport is highlighting these Hispanicto further showcase the rich heritage reflected throughout the airport.
Phoenix Sky Harbor features a variety of Hispanic‑inspired dining options in Terminals 3 and 4, ranging from grab‑and‑go meals to award‑winning concepts shaped by the Valley’s Hispanic food scene. Local favorites such as Barrio Café Sky Harbor, Humble Tortas & Tacos and Ajo Al’s serve rich flavorful staples, while Blanco Tacos & Tequila, Tacos Chiwas and Barrio Brewing at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport offer modern regional dishes.
The Phoenix Airport Museum showcases murals, sculptures, prints and paintings by Hispanic artists, highlighting cultural narratives, traditions and community stories central to Arizona’s heritage. Current exhibitions feature works such as Luis Jiménez’s pieces and Teresa Villegas’ La Lotería series.
Throughout the airport, several gift stores and newsstands such as Sonora Southwest Living and Camelback Provisions offer handmade goods, specialty foods and locally crafted products inspired by Hispanic culture.
PHX will host a live Mexican folklore dance performance by the ASU Valle Del Sol Folklorico Club from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the Culture Corner, located post‑security in Terminal 3.
