Security Training
Security training is mandatory for each applicant, except for those whose work-related duties require a public badge, and must be successfully completed before a badge can be issued.
The City of Phoenix has an online training system, PHXYou, that allows training to be completed online at your workplace or using a personal computer or phone. After you have successfully completed this training, you may make an appointment or come to the badging office to have your badge printed.

Training Schedule
PHX uses an Interactive Computer-Based Training Program and the training schedule is below:
- Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–2 p.m. (latest arrival is 1 p.m.)
Fuel Handling Procedures
If your company requires you to have Fuel Handler's Endorsement, you must complete training for fuel handling procedures.
