No one who follows a vegan or vegetarian diet wants to be stuck eating only alfalfa and wheat grass while traveling. Why compromise on good flavors and cuisine? No need to rely on packing snacks prior to arriving at the airport when several Phoenix Sky Harbor restaurants offer plant-based and dairy-free options.

Terminal 3

There are several vegetarian offerings available in this modernized terminal, including salads, soups, sandwiches, veggie burgers and even pizza. If you are flying out of Terminal 3, stop by San Tan Brewing Company, The Parlor, Habit Burger or The Tavern to enjoy a meatless meal.

If you are a vegan who follows a plant-based diet without any animal products, there are also options for you, including the Far Beyond Vegan Burger and cilantro lime hummus at San Tan Brewing, avocado toast or steel cut oatmeal at The Tavern, and fresh fruit and salads at The Parlor.

Terminal 4

Terminal 4 has a lot of delicious restaurants to choose from and many offer vegetarian meals both pre-and post-security, including an Omeleta Mexicana at Barrio Café, Ethan’s Vegetarian Tacos at Chelsea’s Kitchen, and more.

If you are a vegan and after security, you are in for a treat! Check out the Spicy Chickpea Lettuce Wrap at La Grande Orange or go to Pita Jungle for several vegetarian and vegan dishes, including their spinach pasta salad, coconut curry soup, and more!
